Not showing Black versions of watch faces

My 360 won't show any black versions of the watch faces even if I pick the Black versions

What do you mean by 'black' versions? Are these the Ambient watchfaces, perhaps? Those are only shown when (and if) your watch is on Ambient mode.

Sorry. I mean a black background. Like in the case of the "minimal" watch face that you can have a black or white background. When I pick black it doesn't change on the watch. And doesn't matter which face I pick. None of them work.

OK, let's go with the Minimal one. Are you changing it from the Android Wear app in your phone? Or directly from the watch? Try both and see if any of them change it.

In any case, I would also try resetting your watch (sort of like factory resetting your phone, but for your watch... unless you've downloaded music into it, not much to lose).
