Not showing Message / Email Counter on screen.

Newbie................ Rooted and Upgraded ATT SGN2 yesterday with Pack-man (AOPK) . One big feature that I am missing is where it displays on the icon that you have "X" number of messages or email waiting. Is there a way to turn this on? Is there another app or even 4.2.2 ROM that will make this work?

The easiest way to find the answers you seek is to find the developer release notes specific to your rom. It might be a bug, or it may have been overlooked by the developer and just left out.
