Not to impressed with the Tab 3 7.0

Just went to a buddy of mines and checked out his Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and I found it very slow and lagging! I Have a Nexus 7 now, and it would blow the Tab 3 out of the water. I Was thinking of getting the Tab 3 8.0 but if the performance is like the Tab 3 7.0 I'll stick to my Nexus 7 for now.

I got the Tab 3 8.0 I find the performace to be great. I also have a Nexus 7 and the performance on that was getting really slow. I'm much happier with the Tab 3 8.0 then I was with the Nexus 7.

Well that's what I was thinking that the performance on the Tab 3 8.0 was better than on the Tab 3 7.0 All the reviews that I've read about the Tab 3 7.0 thought it was laggy compared to the 8.0

The Tab 3 8.0 is essentially a premium device compared to the 7. More RAM, better screen, faster processor... Definitely a better performer than the 7.

My friend is returning his Tab 3 7.0 today, and is going to give the Tab 3 8.0 a try....I'm really anxious to see if there is that much of a performance difference between to two tabs.

Agreed... as others have said, the 8" version is much peppier. I've had it for a week and been very pleased.

Oh yea!!!! Now that was more like it! Got to try yhe tab 3 8.0 last night and it was great! Absolutely no comparison to the tab 3 7.0 so much faster and responsive than the 7 inch. Definitely going to put this one on the top of my list for an upgraded tablet.
