Note 10.1 physical keyboard

I have a galaxy tab 10.1 and when I got it I purchased a physical keyboard dock. Now that I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 I would like to use the same keyboard with it but it doesn't fit. I noticed that the black plastic area comes off, so do you think Samsung would sell me the part, so i don't have to buy a whole new keyboard.

NO they won't. They will be releasing a custom keyboard for the Note within the next few months. Why would they want to make it that easy? THey would much rather sell you a whole new keyboard.

I was reading that someone modded the black part ao that the note would fit. All they did I believe is cut the edges of the black part.

Sure, you can pretty much rig anything to adapt to a different product, but if you want one specifically made to fit you need to wait for the Note version.
