Don't forget in settings of Google gesture you can set the side back sensitivity

Yeah I have tried the various sensitivity but the slide out in apps was always an issue before I started using the angle slide gesture. I'm all good now

No way in hell I can put that crappy carrier firmware on my phone. I'll die with no update rather than using a carrier firmware phone

I keep getting mixed messages online. T-Mobile firmware on unlocked phone is better for battery and signal.

I should just buy T-Mobile version then if I keep flashing firmware lol

Nah it's just the signal indicator or the bars which is better. In terms of actual signal strength in db they are all the same.

Even if it was different and the carrier phone was given to me free to use, I'll still throw it in thrash and buy the unlocked model.

They are the same battery wise and signal also
Very little bloat on tmobile version , and unlocked with tmobile sim still get wifi calling

I can't stand carrier boot logo after paying 1000+ dollars. Imagine having these boot up screens on your personal laptops. This is one thing apple is doing right.

Agreed!! Not only Apple, Google also doesn't bend over like Samsung does. But we are a different breed because 99% of people here and general consumer don't care about those stuff.

There should be no such thing as a carrier phone ,and all phone and carrier features should be supported

But the crappy carriers don't prefer that since they want to put their junk and remove features from OEMs that conflicts with their business interest. And companies like LG/Samsung bend over and allow that since they care about selling the phone than the overall user experience. I care about these stuff and so will never buy a carrier phone even if it's free. But over the years consumers have proved no one gives a **** about it and most people even in the forums almost don't get bothered by these stuff.

In an ideal world yes it would be nice there is no carrier version and Samsung stops having million firmware versions for the same model and have one or two like Apple/Google does for a particular model.

At least they offer the official unlocked model here in the US now, few years back I had to buy the imported international unlocked model.
