Boredom refers to me - NOT my phones - after all the Pre-order excitement I'll be bored until the Pixel 4s are up for pre-order when I will order a P4XL in black.

I've had 3 of them - really liked them all - like the Note 10+ too. I think it all comes down to what phone suits your needs/wants.

Never could understand people arguing over which phone is better - never

They have different appeal, latest platform updates, simple software with best camera. They aren't feature rich like Samsung phones. But they appeal to me. I always keep the latest Pixel and latest iPhone thru out the year, other phones make guest appearances.
If you don't change phones often and just want to settle at one, then Samsung phones are top of the food chain or iPhone (I know lots of people hate saying that in Android forums )

what has me intrigued, in all honesty, is the camera. everyone saying it's so much better. I want to find out for myself since my camera is a huge part of my experience.

I need the pen so there's no compromising on that, and I need a great camera. the rest... the design, screen, features beyond those... it's just icing on the cake. I was, and still am, very disappointed with the Note 8 camera (the phone in general) after using the Note 7 camera/phone, and I got some great shots, beautiful shots, with my Note 4 too. seems like it's mostly been downhill from there. and honestly, from some, not all, of the pictures I see posted so far, I'm wondering about the Note 10+ camera now, though no one says whether the pic is from the 10 or the 10+. still, I'm hopeful or I wouldn't have ordered it.

I probably just po'd a bunch of folks now... apologies to any that are offended. I tend to speak my mind.

I wouldn't say it's very much better. In normal light all cameras take great pictures. Pixels and Huawei stand out in night pictures. But also note that Pixel cameras have other performance issues like they are not the fastest to launch etc. I love my pictures from Pixel but it's not like Note 10 or other flagship take crappy pictures. They all do good job and certain camera have certain advantage. For example Pixel video recording is average but Samsung and iPhones video is great. Samsung and other phones gives you multiple cameras (Pixel 4 will change and give at least dual cameras).

So in the end I feel the camera experience is great in all flagships with each one have strengths and weaknesses.

It's black but under most lighting it looks like Note 9 blue.

wait, I see black on the bottom of the phone (case) and I see reflection of light or another color at the top of the bottom of the phone (case). those are different. the glass will reflect whatever it sees, but the phone should still be black. you must have something that the glass is interacting with that makes it appear that color.

the image here, of the black, shows black black, unlike yours which shows blue by the camera. probable reflection. but at the bottom I see the black black

It's irritating that other colors, other than black, white, blue, and glow, are not offered in the US. I'd buy the aura red in a heartbeat if it were offered here, but it never will be.

Take it with a grain of salt, but the Samsung Rep at Best Buy is the one that told me the green one os coming out later, so we may see it in the US. Just don't know if it's the Plus or regular Note either.

I for one never trust a word they say since they have zero info on stuff like this at their level. Most of the times they talk out of their *** so definitely taking it with a big grain of salt

Though it won't be surprising that Samsung gets a new color for holidays just to spur up sales but pretty sure the rep doesn't have any idea about that.
