My Note 10+ will drop from 100% to 99% within like 1 minute after removing from the charger.

Is this normal?

Yes. It's actually accurate unlike iPhones that keep it at 100% for a half hour.

As long as it lasts me all day I don't worry about the actual percentage as much. But yeah, it goes to 99 super fast.

Every single Android phone that I have had does that after you install a few apps. Theoretically, it can't be 100% very long after you unplug it. Think about it, even if you say that the measurement rounds up and down based on actual measurement - it can only be at 100% when the actual capacity is 99.5-100%. You can't have capacity of over 100%. Compare that to the range of 99% which would show when the actual capacity is 98.5-99.4%. That is double the range to show. So theoretically, it can only stay at 100% less than half the time it would stay at 99%. Of course this depends on what apps you have running, etc.

I don't even pay attention to that. I'm of the camp that I'm more worried about all day than the 100 to 99 marker.

Mine does the same, that's why I'm happy I dont have to have the battery % visible all the time. If I wanna see where I'm at I'll just slide the notification panel down and check.

I mean, it does go from 100-99 pretty fast, but then it takes forever to go from 99-0, so I'm not really concerned about it

The way Samsung has their phones programmed is when it's charging and hits 100%, it then allows it to drain a little then trickle back up to 100 again during the night while it's on the charger. So sometimes you may catch it when its at the low part of the drain before it trickles it back up and your phone will drop rather quickly to 97% or so. If you need that extra bit, I usually grab it off my charger then place it back on in the morning, take a shower, then the phone is really at 100% when I get it and won't drain that quick.

Do what I do - turn off your battery percentage indicator and don't worry about it! :) I'm sure all is good.

It's like laundry. You're never caught up on clean laundry, because even when you've washed everything, you still have the clothes you're wearing.....unless you walk around the house naked.

The best tip I received years ago was to turn Off the battery % sign in the status bar and just enjoy what the phone brings.

nothing to be concerned about. Never rely on percentage anyway. one post mentioned the iphone keeping 100 percent for 30 minutes. aint no way, IMO, the apple phone is lying.

That's not real , if it does that then Apple is fooling people.

Most definitely... My iPhone stays on 100% for the longest when not using ...
