Note 10 Glitchy Keyboard Texting

Hi i have a Note 10 that i purchased new about a month ago. A few days ago while trying to text when i push on the letter keys but instead of getting letters it flickers back and forth like iF i try to type the word sad it comes out instead of an s i get @ then instead of an a i get ! and instead of a d i get #. It does this with any and all words i try to type. Theres not cracks anywhere on the phone or case. Any help would be appreciated. I was thinking maybe a reset? Anyone have any ideas? Thank you

Can try resetting the keyboard , is it stock keyboard?

yes its stock. how do you reset the keyboard?

Press the gear cog when you open Samsung keyboard go to the bottom where it says reset keyboard

Try the reset.
But also, are you pressing too long? A long press is what brings up those characters.

If he's pressing too long then he could also make some adjustments in the keyboard settings.
