You should read the comments on the review. So many people complaining the P30 Pro had a lower score. It's hilarious to watch people argue over such nonsense.

Seriously, having a phone that is 1 point higher literally doesn’t matter. 10 points, probably, but not 1. What is interesting is that the S10 5G got the same score as the P30 Pro but a higher selfie score, but ended up 3rd.

DxO’s scores aren’t law though, and because they only use auto mode (no night modes, wide angle etc) certain phones get ranked higher/lower than they should be. An example is the Pixel 3 and the iPhone XR. Both have the same score of 101 but I suspect many would agree when I say that the Pixel 3 takes better photos, especially in low light.

Others also refuse to believe the competence of DxO because they don’t understand how they end up with the final score given the individual test scores. It’s like asking Coca Cola for the exact recipe of their drinks...they’re not going to tell you.

What score do you think the iPhone XI will get? Personally I doubt it will beat the S10+ or P30 Pro.

It always go back and forth. People need to stop worrying about phone cameras. It's not like we are professional cellphone photographers. DxO only tests the auto mode. If someone really cared about the cellphone photos, they would use pro mode and RAW to get exactly what they want. It's just bragging rights.
