Note 10 plus security patch

[Android Central Question]

Hi, I have a note 10 plus which still hasn't had the android 12 update but I'm more concerned that its using Jan 2021 security patch. I was told on the samsung website that it appears to have binary firmware on the phone. Is anybody able to help explain what I need to do?

Your unlock firmware or carrier firmware?
