Note 10 pre register - Trade-in value of Note 9 $600

My reservation is in! I got my Note 9 for $385. I'll gladly take $600 in trade for it.

Let me know when you get 600$

I got $300 for a S7 trading it for my wife's S10e a few weeks ago. I am sure they will honor the $600 for the NOTE 9 if the device meets the requirement.

I've never had a problem with any of the trade in phones I've sent to Samsung. It's how I got my Note 9 so cheap. $300 off the phone and $350 trade in. Directly from Samsung. Same with my Note 8 and LG G4 trade in.

Anyone notice that the prices are gone and now it says "special preorder value to be revealed on 8/7?"?

Weird, it says 'value to be revealed' if you open it in a browser, but still says $600 when opened in Samsung app.

Did you fill out the form (name, etc.) first before tapping on the trade-in section?

Still owe $600 on my Note 9, so intriguing. But Note 10 didn't get the big camera upgrade (to the 5x optical zoom), which is very disappointing as Samsung could have added it, but decided to have the S11 get it first, so will have to wait to the Note 11

If VZW store or Best Buy did the $600 trade in I would consider it but I've read too many horror stories of folks sending a good phone to Samsung and getting nothing back... and of course they won't return the phone to you so you are utterly at their mercy.

I traded an S7 Edge on a Note9 last year and received a $450 trade-in credit which processed smoothly. I have a lightly-used Note9, 6GB/128GB that's going on-the-trading-block this time for a Note10 Plus. For my own satisfaction I had photographed the S7 Edge as I prepped it for shipment and made a video too. Well, those 'proofs' were not required. I overpacked that S7 Edge with materials which I had on hand so that it would be (in theory) impervious to mishandling during the shipping process and added $1000 worth of insurance to boot. This was (overly) precautionary in the event I needed to present a case to the US Post Office if for any reason Samsung made a fuss or if the phone was lost or misplaced.

Had to clear cache and data force stop
When restarted app. The pre-registration came up

so, after i already pre-registered, they changed it to 'up to $300' trade-in and to make up for the difference they are offering online credits at samsung.com. So sneaky!!! That is a huge difference!

when i first did the pre-register, it told me my note 9 trade-in value was $600 (DOLLARS) not credits.

Best Buy is. I've done so for Note 9. Go to the store and preorder. They will ask for the phone you will be trading in. They note that down . You leave and come back on release day with the phone you want to trade in, they give you a $600 gift card, and they apply it to the Note 10 on the spot. Love it.

That is not the case. I checked it last night and went through the process and not only did it give the $600 in credits towards the phone, they also had $200 in credits towards accessories and kits that you can purchase with the phone. By the time it was done, the cost was $349 for the Note 10 and $499 for the 10+ with the Note 9 trade in. This included case + kit bundle of earbuds and 10k battery charger. Definitely a good deal if looking to upgrade
