Note 2 in the pocket?

I've been carrying a Thunderbolt with the extra capacity battery in my left front pocket for almost two years. The Note 2 will NOT be a problem for me.

I had the LG intuition, which is larger/wider than the note 2, and it wasn't that bad. I'm guessing it will be a bit better than that, so no issues for me.

Can I asked you why you went with the Intuition? With no place to store the pen, only ICS, not as polished software for the pen, and the boxy look; I just couldn't bring myself to get it over the Note 2.

I must be strange, but I use two hands when I use my Bionic. I may swipe the notifications down with one hand, but for the most part, It feels more comfortable using both hands. I hold it in my left and use my right to type/tap, etc., so the size will work fine for me.

I have a good friend that has a Note and it fits fine in a shirt pocket (I won't buy a shirt without a pocket), but it will definitely should fit in Dockers, etc.
I don't wear Dockers, my dad does. But I do wear pants, so hopefully it will fit those too.

You Dad must look classy then...and we are all glad that you wear pants, ha! J/K Sorry, I am 57, so Dockers was the first thing that came to mind!

I know, just joking around. At 43 I find myself shopping closer and closer to that section of the store every day.

It fits in a pocket good unless you wear skinny jeans.

I always carry my 7" tablets(Galaxy Tab 2 and now Nexus 7) in my jeans pocket.... never had any problems.
(which was one of the reasons I ditched my iPad 2 and HP Touchpad... didn't want to carry them around
because the size)

Tried the old first generation Galaxy Note and it went in my shirt pocket just fine, with lots of room to spare.

Good, i'm not a crazy person for carrying my Nexus 7 in my pants pocket. There are others. I don't see an issue with carrying a device that's slightly smaller in my pockets. CANT WAIT

I am not worried about the Note 2 fitting in my pocket. I am worried about how ridiculous i will look with that thing strapped to my hip in a case! I like my phone on my belt and not in my pocket so i dont want to look like i have a surfboard attached to my belt! :)

I carried my Galaxy Tab 7 in my pants pocket some and always wished it had a phone built in it so this note 2 will be a dream come true.

It will fit in just about any back pocket if it doesn't fit in your front pocket. Plus, with the size these new devices are getting, putting something that big in your front pocket, when wearing well fitting (not skinny or baggy) pants, just looks weird, I think.

You should quit looking......

I stopped into a T-mobile store last night to check one out, its a BIG phone, but I could use it just fine with one hand and it did fit just fine into my pocket, however no skinny jeans for me lol..... at 6'3" ~300lbs I prefer "loose" fit, but not baggy, and it slide in and out of my front left pocket on my jeans just fine, proably a little better than my GNex with a case on it....the note 2 with no case is quite thin.

Yep, fitting in a pants pocket for me, using it one handed is no problem at 6'5.

No skinny jeans, nor Dockers (I'm starting to question the fashion sense of my soon to be fellow GN2-ers). Just regular relaxed-fit pants & jeans. I'm guessing I'll be just fine.

Played with the GN2 at a T-Mobile kiosk. I could type with one hand (with keyboard shrunk & moved to the right). However, I found myself supporting the Note a little with my other hand. That may just be because I wasn't used to holding it, and wanted to be careful. ETA: 5'10", and wouldn't consider myself as having very big hands.
