Note 2 losing notification ringtone settings

I have a stock Verizon Note 2 (Android 4.1.2). I keep setting custom ringtones (saved as system ringtones) for my SMS notifications (through GoSMS) and for my email (K9 and Gmail). Every few days, they stop working and just go silent.

This has been happening for several weeks now and I can't figure out why. Any ideas what would cause the notification ringtones to reset like that?

Have the same issue as well. I am not using any of the programs that you use. I do keep it in the dock overnight.
