Note 2 n7105 can't surf on 3G or H+

I bought a Note 2 in Singapore and I can't use 3G or higher network. According to Samsung, although my mobile is unlocked they can't do it anything to solve my problem. Does anyone has a clue how to make this thing works. The other thing H+ sometimes is available, but 90% of the time I'm using E.

Actually I have the same problem I got the phone 2 weeks ago but I can't use the 3g

in mobile network setting, have you tried using network : wcdma only ? if set to auto, in a low 3g signal area, the phone will always revert to edge/gsm as it's stronger signal than 3g. i don't think a high-end phone like Note 2 doesn't have 3g. another issue might be the operator's network, try another operator and see.

i am using net10 att sim.i used to get H+ mostly. its fast. speedtest showed me close to 3.5mb download in mobile network.

the only problem would be with tmobile sim, which just operates in Edge.
