Note 2 or 3?

Hey fellow androiders, it's time for me to get a new phone and was looking into the Note 2 but have been hearing of a Note 3 coming out this year. Need opinions on whether I should get the Note 2 or wait for Note 3. If I get the Note 2 I will probably be stuck with it for about two years as I do not have the funds to buy a new phone every time one comes out lol.

Just get the 2 first. If youre going to wait for the next phone that's about to come out, you'll never get a new phone.

By the time now 3 comes out, the note 4 well be coming out soon

Honestly, the note 2 is straight awesome BUTTTTT.... I used my friends S4 the other day and if the note 3 has what the S4 has and you dont absolutely need a phone right now id wait.

Depends if you're prepared to wait best part of 3-4 months as the rumour is/was September release for Note 3.

My humble opinion... Get the Note 2. Technology moves too fast to wait for everything. Go check one out at the store, and if you like how it feels and like what it does, then get it. If the Note 2 meets your needs for now and for the future... Why wait? I got mine a week ago knowing full well that the Note 3 is coming soon and that the S4 just came out... But the Note 2 is just such a convenient and awesome device that I decided to just get it while I had the money for it. I don't regret it for a second

If the Note 3 were 1-2 months away I'd say wait. With 4-5 I'd say don't wait. We are just over half way into the life cycle so the phone is still top of the line in terms of hardware. The next release is far enough away that you don't have to worry about it coming right after you buy the 2.

At this point buy the Note 2.

Go ahead and get the Note 2. It's great and it and the S3 are supposed to get firmware updates to put them on par with the S4. And everyone is raving about the S4.

The Note 3 will most likely not hit shelves until late October/early November, which is 5 months away, so I'd just get the Note 2. Waiting on technology is pointless, because the next best thing is always around the corner.

I ordered my Note 2 on Friday, and awaiting its arrival...
I wouldn't want to wait on something I know nothing about, for me personally if it's going to be larger than the 2 I wouldn't want it anyway.

Thanks guys... my current phone has some issue with restarting itself multiple times a day or just turning off and it gets annoying... I checked out the Note 2 in store today and I really liked it, had no idea what I was doing especially with the pen but it felt cool lol.

Is there something about the s4 that you must have like fhd or ir blaster? Because most likely, the note 3 would be a larger s4 with some minor changes. If the note 2 has everything that you need, then I say get it.
