I dony know too much abiut the TV stuff but last week I bought the Note 2 and im really loving it. It is still taking some time to get used to but its got great internals, runs fast and has great battery life. Its also got some really nice features and was a huge upgrade from my nexus s.
Honestly, I was in the same position and I could still get a full refund but I realized that id have to go back to a crappy phone and wait for the note 3 to be announced and then wait for it to reach my carrier before enjoying a great experience. Yhe note 2 reached my carrier in November last year and i really dont see the point in waiting so long. In my case, im just too attached to the Note 2 right now. Plus samsung will update the note 2's software really soon so clearly the phone's going to last for a while. I even like the Note 2 more than the S4.
