Just recently noticed this with mine too.turns the stock charger went bad. Carefully check another charger if you have a similar one. I'm using my nexus seven charger and it works perfect.

It should take less than 3 hours (~2:30 hours) to charge from 0 to 100%. Use a stock charger and charge it off the wall rather than through USB/computer

Check the small print on your charger to make sure it's a Samsung one, and that it says it's 5V and 2.0A, not something like 5V and 1A or 5V and 0.5A. The Samsung 2.0A charger is the only one which you can be certain will fast-charge the Note 2.
