Note 20/Note 20 Ultra accessories discussion.

I just ordered some clear lens protectors. That black started gnawing at me because I don't think I want to cover the bronze camera. I originally got the black ones cuz they were the only ones I saw with the holes cut out. Now that I see that its only the 1 cut out, I may as well go with the clear. To be sure, I'm gonna wait on the phone before returning the black ones.

Which ones did you go with? I grabbed the Whitestone Dome lens protector but it's all one piece. I'm kind of afraid that the laser sensor isn't going to work properly or the flash is going to get caught in the reflection.

Wonder if it will effect the picture quality

Anyone who may have ordered the ESR tempered glass, there is a outline where the fingerprint scanner is. Not sure what it will look like on the phone but it's not very pretty. At least not the my eyes. I may still try it. We will see. Does anyone know of a glass screen protector that doesn't have the ring in it that will still work with fingerprint scanner??

So I received the OtterBox Defender Pro for my Note20 Ultra on Tuesday and after thinking about how they are now $10 less than previous models I went and grabbed my Note10+'s Defender Pro and put it side by side and I think I see why it's now $10 cheaper. The Note20 Ultra's feels much flimsier and the inner plastic feels thinner than my Note10+'s. I also noticed on the box of the Note20 Ultra's it now says "Wireless charging compatible". I guess that makes sense since you made the case thinner and ultimately cheaper/less durable. 🙄

I had the Defender on my Note 9 and it works fine with the 2015 Samsung wireless charger. The first year they use the circular one. That's still the same charger I use at night when I sleep. The generic Defender for the Note 10 Plus also works fine as well.

Whitestone dome is the only one I know that works

Yea, the Whitestone dome is the best one for these curved edge displays. That protector you have only sticks to the edges and does not have adhesive in the middle. I can only imagine all the crap getting between the screen and glass from that fingerprint hole. :-\

I would send that back to Amazon.

Hi. I've been reading posts on this thread looking for a good case for my pre-order N20Ultra 5G (sadly, offered variant here in the Phils. is Exynos). I'm a Spigen user since my iPX days. I'm currently using Spigen Case Core Armor for my S10+ and I've been dropping this phone (accidentally) a lot of times. I'm checking Ringke Fusion as I prefer slimmer cases with drop protection however I hear that the web design inside the Spigen cases "gives" the phone an extra protection, so I go for Spigen instead. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Thanks so much for posting this. It looks like the camera bump will be flush in the S-view case and I'm happy about that.

Me too! I was envisioning the edges of the hump getting nicked and cracked/shattered.... Much like the crystal (glass) on a watch or the edge of a tempered glass protector..can you imagine??

Also, I think you told me you had a whitedome screen protector - did you install it yourself and how did that go? When you removed it, was there a mess on the screen?

(I'm still trying to figure out what the product is that is UV cured, I'm a nailtech and thinking of just putting my nail lamp over the whole screen when I cure it. Lol!)

I installed it myself and as long as you follow the video, you'll do just fine. If you mess up and need to restart with the 2nd glass in the box, the phone cleans up easily. Once cured, the glass peels off the phone without a problem and as I remember, there won't be a residue on the phone display. You certainly could use your UV light and if you insert the phone sideway, you could probably cure the whole thing in one shot. The UV light included in the installation kit is in a construct in the shape of a bridge that fits over the phone and it needs to be moved 2 to 3 times to cure the full glass. It works really well, though and only takes a couple of minutes to cure the adhesive.

Although, my WSD glass will be here tomorrow, I'm still debating if I want to use it with the sview case and the new Gorilla glass.
