I'd like to hear from those that switched from the s series to the new note 20/note 20ultra and your thoughts. I'm thinking about the note 20 ultra which oddly is a little less expensive than the S20ultra

When I made the decision to go with the N20U from S20U:

S20U dilike

Camera auto focus issue annoyed me
No Spen

S20U Likes

Flat display
Large 5000 Mah battery

Note20U dislike

Curved display
4500 mah battery
Drains faster in my opinion

N20U likes

Spen
Lighter then S20U due to smaller battery
No auto focus issues

I moved from the S20U to N20U... The positive things for me are :
Better battery life.
No autofocus issues.
Better signal.

Not sure why so soon but it does happen every year with Samsung flagships

N20U being cheaper than the S20U is not an every year thing... The Note 10+ was never below the S10+ price. Same goes for S9/N9, S8/N8 and so on... Excluding the N7...

Prove? I have used the S20U before and now the N20U and they look the same to me...
I had the 20 Ultra for 6 months it had a flatter display to me compared to the note 20 Ultra if it didn't to you then so be it you don't speak for the world I answered the OP question from my personal opinion don't have to agree with me

You said FLAT display. Not FLATTER...

*edit*
Turns out its more curved on the N20U. My bad.

According to sammobile:
S20 series no longer has a curved display instead it adopted a 2.5D panel. So yes much more of a flatter panel compared to the N20U as i MENTIONED 20201019_102946_01.jpg

We are discussing about the S20U a.k.a S20 Ultra... Not the normal S20...

And 2.5D or 3D and so on is still CURVE.

S20+ to N20U here. Missed the pen as a long-time Note user. Very happy to be back, with one small caveat.

My old S20+ with its 6.7" screen vs the 6.9" has a slightly better resolution, and because of it, it actually shows a little more content on the screen at same font size. It's not a big difference, but a but annoying as the phone is noticeably larger. Side-by-side, the dead-space between content on the N20U is a bit larger.

Also, I love the look and usability of the square edges, but can't deny that the rounded corners of the S20+, combined with the smaller size, make much more front-pocket friendly in my jeans. I can ride my bike with the S20+ in my pocket, whereas the N20U is a no-go, with same case (Spigen Liquid Air for those interested...)

Well let's talk about the SPen!
Apparently this new design of the SPen specially designed for the note 20 ultra is very special. The spend from the other series of notes won't be work.
My dog chewed the tip rendering it inoperable. So looked high and low. Samsung website NIL,amazon nil, etc. Finally found it on best buy site.it comes with 2 replacement tips and removal tool. This new s pen really feels like you are writing on paper.
