Note 20 starting at 128GB base storage?

I wonder if there is a huge number of people who don't use a lot of storage and rely on external storage. I do agree they should use 256 as the base.

I don't know, but 256GB is the optimal amount of storage for me. 128 is too little, and I don't wanna pay $200 extra to go up to 512GB which is more than I need. I hate how they're handling storage on the S20's. I also find it odd that the S20+ is $150 extra for 512, but the Ultra is $200 for 512. Makes no sense to me.

More RAM

Agreed if the S20 ultra base model was 256 gb I would have have settled with that. 128 GB is too low for phones starting in excess of $1000.

Just plain wrong

If Samsung wants to market a 'value leader' Note20 this sounds like how they'd go about it.

I wonder if they're going to split the Note 20 line like they did the Note 10 line, only this time the 20+ will have the higher amout of gigs...

I hope they don't do it like the S series and have 3 models. The prices on the highest end will get close to 2 grand.

I mean, I don't mind spending money if I think the value is there. But at this point the value to cost ratio is getting beyond what I find acceptable.

Any you know they are those who spend it. Note 20 ultra 1TB storage 16 GB memory $1999. People will still pre-order and buy it.

It had better have 20 gigs of memory to fit the whole 20 motif this year.

256 should be the base storage for the Note series.. 1 reason I was put off with the S20 ultra in india is after paying around 1300$ I was getting only 128gb base storage and no option for 256 gb version...very happy with my Note 10+ waiting for Note 20 or maybe Note 21

128gb is woefully inadequate. I require 256g minimum with removable storage as an option. My handset is now both a telecommunications device and multimedia center. In order to be fully mobile (that is, access media when offline), lots of storage is required.

I think in 2020 128GB is enough. 64Gb should not be sold anymore in flagships tho. My LG V30 has 128Gb, and when I downloaded 50+ apps (some of them were +1GB big games), I still had 70% of storage left. For photos and videos, Google Photos offers unlimited cloud storage, youtube and spotify are streaming, so these don't take away from my space, thus I don't see the point of having more than 128Gb at the moment. But memorywise flagships could have 6gb, and 4000+mAh batteries.
