Note 20 Ultra pre-order thread!

Exactly. That on top of the Rakuten 10% cash back and whoever was nice enough to share their 5% off referral code I got approximately 25% off in total when all said and done plus an additional $233 off for buying the Note9 for $317 and trading it in for $550.
I'm confused--you got $233 in trade for the Note 9, plus $550 in trade? --I thought I was the master of phone purchase horse trading but...

I just bought the Note9 when I saw they were giving $550 for it. I paid $317 shipped via Amazon for the Note9 so I am getting an additional $233 off the Note 20 Ultra.

Anyone think Samsung will discontinue the Note series? This new fold 2 is rumored to be its replacement.

Discontinuing the Note series? Crazy! But I can see why you would think that. But it would still be so crazy to think about!

I've owned, for at least a week to a year, the Note 2, Note 3, Note 5, Note 7 (twice), Note 8, Note 9, Note 10+ and now, Note 20 Ultra.

I started at Note 3, owned everyone except the Note 7, since it was straight fire, I never got the chance. I didn't preorder because well cash flow that year and I think I had tried another phone, was going to wait a few weeks and then pick one up. The rest is HISTORY

Straight fire. I see what you did there. But it really WAS fire, slangishly speaking 😏

Ah, I understand now. In that case, I'm STILL the Master phone horse trader...

I traded a Pixel 2 ($400) on the smaller Note 10 at launch at the Microsoft Store, but I ended up returning it. Got the $400 from the P2 trade on a MS gift card.

Bought a Pixel 3 128GB (new on Craigslist) for $300, but 3 months later starting having severe battery issues (rapidly draining battery charge with little or no use, even when plugged in)--and I was traveling at the time. It was a freaking nightmare. Google would never give a straight answer about whether they would honor the warranty. Sooo...

Went right back to the Microsoft Store on January 5, during their New Year's sale & the phone was about $300 off. Traded the P3 (for exactly what I paid for it) on the smaller Note 10. I used the gift card that I got for the original P2 ($400), traded the P3 ($300), and the only thing I paid to walk out the door with the device was the sales tax--and I got a free wireless charging stand to boot!

And I get $700 trade-in on it from Samsung....

The excitement is nearly overwhelming!

Just ready to unbox that beast and load up my apps and get it into that nice, supple leather case and rock it!

I want to bring you with me the next time i buy a car!

Now that the arrival of our new Note is imminent, is anyone willing to join me in acknowledging that we are Note-aholics?

YOU ARE PROBABLY A NOTE-AHOLIC IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY:
-You've owned at least 3 of the last four Notes (Me: Note 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10+, and, very soon 20 Ultra)
-You get excited when Note pre-orders begin - and waiting is not an option
-You are disgusted when you see articles like "Best Alternatives to the Galaxy Note" (Anyone who thinks there are ANY alternatives just doesn't get it!)
-You know just about everything there is to know about the latest Note before the Unpacked event
-You realize that the improvements from one model year to the next are not huge, but you have to have the latest model anyway OR (perhaps worse) you convince yourself every year that the relatively minor improvements are must-haves features.

This is madness. Nevertheless, I can't wait until Wednesday.
Haha, yup!
Galaxy S3, 4 and 5, skipped the 6 because of no sd and no removable battery. Started the Note line with the 7. Lol. So I've had Galaxy S3, S4, S5, S7 Edge (thanks note 7), S8+, Note 7, Note 8, Note 9, Note 10+ and now Note 20 Ultra.

I got mine via an ecoupon code that must be used on an order of over $800 after canceling my first order, which I used on the phone when I placed the final order. I guess they offer it two different ways.
How did you get the $100 ecoupon code?
