I chose that option to pay, 0 interest, off In increments and will prob have paid off in 2-3 months...but it gives the option of no money down and no extra 24 months tacked on to my Verizon bill.

Almost all(if not all) U.S. unboxings were not the retail box, but on the other hand if you look at the what's included in the box it makes no mention of headphones so more than likely they will not be in there. View attachment 323368

Does the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 include a headphone adapter in the box? https://www.androidcentral.com/does-samsung-galaxy-note-20-include-headphone-adapter-box

Keeping hope alive! The "headphones in the box" are mentioned in this article.

I also don't think there will USB C earphones in the box for US market. They will probably want to eek out every bit of margin IMO. If it's there most likely will be in the US unlocked model and the crappy carriers for sure will take out from the boxes

so then they will soon follow the fruit named company and next release will not hav a charger in the box.

I had to cancel my first Note 20 Ultra 512GB order on Verizon yesterday because it was going to be sent to the wrong address. I got the confirmation email from Verizon saying it was canceled. Cool. I made another preorder for the same phone and that one is good to go. I just checked my Verizon account today and the canceled order is still shown as an active order. Any ideas why? The Verizon rep said I only had one active order.

I don't know, but back when the Droid Maxx launched, Verizon had a system error that flagged my order as fraud and kept cancelling my order. After several calls totalling several hours trying to fix it as I kept getting the same cancellation email after each attend at trying to fix it, they ended up giving me a small portable battery for free and they credited me for an entire bill. I'm not too confident with their order system, but they definitely were responsive to making things right. I switched to T-Mobile after I was done with that phone so I have no experience with Verizon since.

That's nothing new for Samsung or Android OEMs to follow Apple. They will let Apple take all criticism, make fun of them in the ads to appease their fans and shamelessly do the same thing themselves a year or two later

TIP FOR GETTING $350-$400 OFF THE GALAXY WATCH 3 (If you have the Galaxy Watch or Active 2 already)
1 - Preorder Note 20 and get the $200 credit (wait for the promo code)
2 - Trade in your Galaxy Watch ($100 off) or Active 2 ($150 off) when you order the Galaxy Watch 3
3 - Use the promo code to take an additional $200 off
4 - Enjoy your Galaxy Watch 3 for a major discount

This is what I'll be doing and just wanted to share :D

Definitely what I will be doing but now you have to wait 35 days after delivery to get that 200 dollar promo. Still sounds like a steal though.

i see samsung site only offering the 5G version...which i shouldnt be mad about. that means it has the Snapdragon chip, but will these 5G phones still work on a 4G network ?? or i will hav to get the 4G version?

It'll work just fine with LTE/4G, there is only one version which supports all networks.

Tip, for people buying from Samsung directly, to save an additional 5% (stacks on top of EPP/EDU disounts as well!), you can try using the following referral code: ref-dbw4xg

Note that this only works for first time orders. So you could try creating a new account with a different email if you already have an existing account with previous orders!

Cool thanks, saved an extra $43 then I'll get another $80 back from Ebates then I'll attempt to cancel and save another 10% 😂

5G phones are backward compatible. All Note 20 phones are 5G.

Have the Note 20 Ultra sitting in my cart right now with the Galaxy Buds plus. Hesitant to pull the trigger because I love my Note 9....its been a great phone...but having 5G, better camera and 120hz are significant upgrades. On the downside I lose a headphone jack and the iris scanner which is my preferred method for unlocking a device. I've been going back and forth on it all morning lol.

Was tempted to go with AT&T to trade Note 10+5G. They are giving $1000 off on a Note 20 Ultra by just upgrading your device. Here is the catch: First, the phone must be paid off in full. Secondly, you are hooked for 30 months. If you keep your device that long, it's a killer deal. If you decide to trade for a Note 30 next year, your credits cease the minute you trade. Which means if you trade 12 months from now, you've only received $400 in credits and you forfeit the rest of the credits. Which means this deal will cost you $1300-400 = $900 if you trade in one year.

In your example, may be in 12 months instead of trading back to AT&T sell it yourself and that way you will continue receiving credits. Also if you trade it somewhere else outside of AT&T you’ll still receive your credits. AT&T isn’t going to care or know that you are using the phone or sold it to someone else. FWIW i don’t deal with carriers so not sure if this will be the case but logically it will work like this.
