Note 20 Ultra pre-order thread!

In US it looks like we only get 128gb and 512gb option. And if you are going with the 512gb, it only comes in black. .

Why does the regular Note 20 even exist?

I think I'm holding off on preordering the Note 20 Ultra. Not sure if I really want it. I'm going to wait to see what Apple has in store in September before pulling the trigger on anything.

I have the smaller Note 10, & I like it. Anything larger or heavier is too much for the size of my hands. I tend to use it one-handed for a lot of things, so the phone rests on my pinkie--and it's too heavy for that. I'm glad they created this option last year, but I hate that some of the specs are so subpar compared to the larger one, in both N10 & N20. --Still 60htz when the Ulra had 120?? Come on!

I'm a medical massage therapist with hand issues myself & anything larger would create repetitive use issues for me time. --I treat issues like this all the time for others, or I used to before covid, when I still had a business...

That said, I see zero reason to switch from the N10 to the N20, especially when Samsung still isn't providing an AptX HD Bluetooth audio codec. I have an amazing pair of Audio Technica headphones that are gathering dust now because my phone lacks this codec. Three years of upgrades is nice though.

Interesting you can pre-order on the app, but not yet on their website. By the way, did you reserve early? I thought you had to wait for their e-mail for the $50 instant credit for reserving early? Did that come up in your order?

I don't see anything referring to the $50 credit for the reservation. The credit is showing $200 and I found one article that says the credit is actually $150. Can anyone confirm?

Mine will be getting sold anyway. Already have a good set of BT headphones. Was hoping the picture of the bronze beans was incorrect though, there was no colour option.

My order does say beans despatched with phone. Who knows.

Note 20 ultra is underwhelming to say the least.. nothing really pops off the screen to me at all that would make me want to shell out 1300 dollars. I'm beginning to feel like its just a money grab, and bring back the headphone jack period!

It can exist for Enterprise use. When deploying phones we don't care about giving users the best with the 50x camera or 120hz at QHD. If they want an S-Pen then the cheaper one will do and not like the screen diff between the two will make it useless. $1000 retail... Corp account price is probably around $499 which is better than $799.

Waiting for corporate accounts for AT&T/Verizon to update their sites with Note 20 availability.

$1299 retail... with S20 Ultra retail at $1399 = $899 Corp price... I'm guessing $799 for the Note 20 Ultra.

I had "reserved" a spot from within the shop Samsung app a couple weeks ago. Went back into it after the unpacked event was complete and sure enough there was a link there for me to preorder

I preordered mine from Samsung. Unlocked Black 128gb Ultra. Trading in my XS for $550. Not bad.

Try going into the shop Samsung app and see if it's there. It was for me. It's showing up in the discover tab.

Couple of notes (no pun intended). The credit is indeed $150 but the reservation brings this up to $200. You can save the credit for later but I think you lose the $50 reservation credit. I tried that and my order showed a $150 credit in my confirmation email. That said, cancelling the order brought back the first $200. I had thought about getting the new watch 3, but it didn't look like the silver model is available so I was going to wait, but they sort of forced my hand. Ended up getting the black buds live and a 45 watt charger alongside the copper ultra 128gb.

Lastly, I noticed in the shop tab, that it still has a reserve now button for the Note 20. I haven't tried it, but it couldn't hurt for those who aren't seeing the $50 credit.
