I wasn't going to upgrade my Note 10 +. I love my 10+, and I hardly take advantage of all the things it can do. But, my vacation and entertainment has been cut back this year, and, as a nerd, new tech is almost as good as a vacation.

So, here I am. This is probably my least dramatic phone upgrade yet, but I am looking forward to it.

My last Note was the 4. Coming from an iPhone XS Max.

Excited to come back to Android from iOS Land. Was really holding out hope Google would get their act together with the Pixel line, but they can't seem to get out of their own way.

Plus, I love having my devices all come from the same 'family'. I'm going from iPhone, iPad Pro 11, Apple Watch 3 and AirPod Pros, to all Samsung devices.

I'm geeked!

I looked at my Verizon account app thing and it always said you have 2 orders. Today it says I have 2 order updates, I don't see any changes. I'm hoping for early delivery, but I'm skeptical. I am thinking that with this covid crap going there are less workers and maybe we are going to see orders being fulfilled earlier. The question remains.. Will they deliver them early or just have them ready to go.

Last year, my Note 10+ order (via Samsung) said expected delivery was on the 23rd (Friday), which was the day it would have been available for sale at a store. It was eventually shipped on the 19th (Monday) and I received it on the 21st.

Maybe with some wishful thinking, with the delivery date being the 21st (Friday) this year - we'll have shipping notices on the 17th (Monday), and actual delivery on the 19th! Makes sense to me!
