Note 20 Ultra pre-order thread!

Does anyone know how early did S20 start shipping. I ordered Unlocked 128gb bronze + Buds Live and Mystic Black 45mm watch 3.

Every phone I have pre-ordered through Verizon, I've always got them earlier. The last was the S10+ and it was delivered 1 day early. My Verizon order says Delivered by Aug 21, I'm hoping for the 20th.
My AT&T order status still shows 8/21 for my expected delivery. It might be because I went with the biggest Ultra 512gb in black
Samsung's site is now showing out of stock. You might get lucky if you ordered from Samsung
aaaarrrgh. Indecision caused me to cancel my order, and the reorder yesterday. The cost? The Galaxy Buds Live show a September 9th delivery date. 
I can't tell what your actual numbers are since you're being rather vague, but even if you get a little more back when you trade in the phone, you still owe more on the phone which means you have to factor that cost into the equation as well. But just using your numbers 20/12 =1.67 per month. Over the course of 40 months that's 66.67. Add in 4 more months at 20 per month and it brings you to 146.66. so pretty much the 150 you lost on the trade in value. There's no free lunch here. So on the next trade, for you to benefit from this, Samsung would have to offer less than 575 next year. Seems unlikely, but there's also the option of selling the phone on Swappa. I doubt it would go for less than that there, even after fees. But hey, it's your money.
I noticed my credit card has been charged for my 2 phones from Samsung now, not pending. I thought it wouldn't be charged until it shipped.
Mine too, but I could still cancel my order on Samsung if I wanted to. So doubt it means anything yet.
I live out in the country. So its 50 miles to a Best Buy.

Seen a dude with a Samsung shirt on.
My wife looked at the Note 20.
She likes the size of it and the weight.
I said you know your SD card will not work in it right.
She asked why.
I said Samsung is Pulling a quick one this year.
They also are not offering a 256 GB model either.
We talked to the Samsung dude about how much my wifes note 9 and my note 10 + would bring.
He said each phone would bring 400.00
I said on preorder on Samsung.com.
the note 9 was bringing 550.00 and the note 10+ was bringing 650.00
He took me to the Best Buy phone counter. Talked to 2 dudes there.
They both backed what the Samsung dude had said.
They also said when you preorder. You have to turn the phones you are trading in that day.
My wife asked what am I supposed to do.
I work from Home an use my Phone.
And if my husbands Chemo Doctor call's I have to be able to answer her.
And how am I supposed to get the information to the new phones.
They said Cloud.
She said this ain't gonna work.
She grabbed me and said Us go to another Best Buy in another town.
We left and went to a Best Buy in a little more upscale town.
Seen the dude there with a Samsung shirt on.
Asked if we ordered 2 Samsung Note Ultra's. What the trade in was on a note 9 and a note 10+
He said the note 9 is supposed to be like 550.00 and the note 10+ was like 650.00.
He took me to Best Buy counter. Asked the mobile phone mgr to take care of me.
She asked what I wanted.
I said a gold Samsung Note Ultra 5G universal unlocked 120 GB phone for my wife.
And a Black Samsung Note Ultra 5G universal unlocked phone me.
She took the orders.
And said I will call you when they are in.
I asked how does this work.
She said they don't know exactly how much inventory and how much they will get in.
The people that preorder get the 1st inventory.
and after that they have to wait for Samsung to send them new Inventory.
I said when do we turn our trade in phones in.
She said when you trade them on and get the new phones.
She said I will try to get you the 150.00 credit for each phone and see if I can apply it toward the cost of the phones.
She had me to pay 2800.00 for the phones and some tax.
She said she can give me a better price on what will go on when we trade the phones in and she sees the cost and tax.
She also said she will only hold the phones for 7 days after she call's us.
My wife popped out a Discover card and stuck it in the machine.
So we are sitting back waiting on a phone call in 2 weeks.
So I you got a 512 model.
I guess they know about how many they get in.
And they know how many people has preordered and may know you are gonna have to wait.
It had already dropped off the pending list a couple days ago and now it is being charged now. It's on my balance now.

Well maybe then. I will caution a few years ago they shipped them all with future delivery dates. That was frustrating, phones were sitting half hour from you and you couldn't get them. Maybe they will do that again with this covid crap, might have reduced worker force. Who knows
Is there a lot of folks ordering the 512GB model.
Or is it something with Samsung ?
