I've been having trouble sending pictures via my text message program (which Verizon still hasn't helped me with) and after talking to Verizon they took out my SIM card and put me on an Esim. Since then some of my settings have changed and I can't figure out how to get it back. At night when my screen is black I normally can tap the screen and see what time it is. The density of the time is very light and I can hardly read it without lifting up the phone. Is there some way I can make that light stronger so I can just tap and have the time come up without having to hold the phone close to my eyes I need it to be brighter and I can't figure out how to adjust it. Thank you in advance

What messaging app are you using?
I've always used one called handcent Next sms but when that wouldn't work I switched over to messenger plus and it did the same thing. I've been told it's because my access point names under Verizon it's supposed to have stuff under msmc and other entries and it's they're all blank. I've been on the phone with Verizon for probably over 40 hours the last 6 months and they haven't been able to help.

Hi, id recommend the default Google or Samsung message app, I hear the Verizon plus messages are going away.
