Android Central Question
Can any visually focused people assist? I have read the "rumors" about the next gen (toxic, I know). There may or may not be a new version. I myself have had the Note since the 2 and have had absolutely 0 problems ever throughout out the years/carriers.
My concern is quality. My PC main monitor is a 1440p 144hz G-Sync (REAL G-Sync) matched with a RTX 2070. I prefer quality and high refresh rate (not worried about 4k, yet). Seeing that the Note 20 Ultra has an unfortunate choice between 60hz 1440p and 120hz 1080p, should I even consider that? I have always run the Note at 1440p since they included it with 0 battery difference in my experience. I primarily watch YouTube/Netflix. I don't really game (except on a plane) and do not Facebook/Snapchat/all the other crap. 60hz has always been great especially with AMOLED. This being said, I always switch YouTube videos to 1440p when they upload at that.
Money is not the issue, except it being wasted on the new version for me to keep 60hz at 1440p versus adding it to savings. My current phone has been incredible. Have everything Samsung so I am very experienced with them (Level Over, Level U Ear Buds, Earbuds+, 10,000mah backup battery, Galaxy Watch and all previous generations of those mentioned, very diehard.)
Thanks!
