Note 2014 Features

I'm a realist, and I understand if I want the full package an upgrade is in order. However my 10.1 could easily last me another two years. So my question is do you think we might see a little feature support? I don't even need a whole firmware update but I think adding a few of the whistles would be nice. Is it something ROM makers could add? Who is upgrading from the regular to the 2014 and why?
