Note 3 dead, not charging and won't turn on

All I want is a charger like this. I dont know why they did not understand that. I know I am not good in english but I make sure they understand what i said after asking them if they do understand me. But still sending me the wrong one.
Yes they did replaced my phone and im using the computer to charge it. The old battery is not working anymore so I have to switch the new bat between the two phones. I hope u know hard it is esp if u cant transfer all your files using my back up pro, kies, smart switch or any other apps.

Try contacting Samsung directly

Same issue here. I called Samsung and they want my old charger 1st. Thats stupid customer service if you ask me. So I called Verizon directly and thet are sending me a Samsung charger free of charge.

I think it's probably a bad battery. Mine turned off twice the other day. Even though my extended battery said 30% charge, I noticed for the past week or so I was getting fewer and fewer hours on a charge. I got A Zerolemon and haven't had the problem since. Just a thought. I know you said they sent you a new battery but it could have been a return and bad as well.

I faced a similar problem and turned to Zerolemon. Seven years passed and none of the external batteries bought dissapointed me, although I changed my smartphone each year. I can say it`s a family affair, there are three external batteries in my home, each of us using the suitable one:)

I have external batteries too, I just prefer the swappable ones. I don't want to be tethered to a charging block. But I have them for backup. :)

So you think its the battery not the phone? As you noticed i posted some issues about my phone the system ui has stopped every start up, i have unfortunately apps has stopped every time i receive a notifications. So u think guys its all about the bat?

Mine says "system UI has stopped" every time I restart too. Not sure if its because I am using Nova or what. That kinda makes sense since the stock UI is being told not to activate and Nova is being used in its place. I wish there was a way to disable the error though. I am pretty sure its from the different launchers. I removed all but nova and still got the error.

I am switching to Tmobile because I am done messing with ATT. They have the best coverage in my area, but I will step down to 4G to get rid of them at this point. At the rate their LTE is expanding I should have LTE in cincinnati this year. Just have to see if they will cover enough of my contract termination to make it financially viable. Only 1 of the 4 lines has a phone that is end of contract. My Note 3 is obviously new. Also have a 5s and 5 on my account. Other is a 4s.

I had that after downloading and app and removed it....to fix it was a factory reset

Agreed
To fix that issue is a factory reset.
It has nothing at all to do with the carrier. Just some messed up code somewhere.
You can also root and flash a rom to fix the issue. And then once your rooted use titanium backup so that you can just batch reinstall all your apps.

Changing carriers to fix that issue is like buying a chevy and giving up your ford because the starter died.

Just happens eventually with code [cars] built by multiple persons.

Factory reset. Ok, will have to do some looking to find the best way to do that without having to setup everything from blank again.

I know the carrier has nothing to do with the software error. But ATT does put way too much crap that almost no one uses onto these phones. So its very possible that one of their adware apps causes the issue.

or an app you have downloaded

or an app you have downloaded

Yes, any app on the phone could have corrupted something, INCLUDING ATT factory apps. Same with Tmobile apps, sprint apps, verizon apps. That was not what I was referring to in my post about leaving ATT anyway. Hence, I said, "I know the carrier has nothing to do with the software error". Their apps may be the cause though. Or some combination of all the apps on the phone. What app was the culprit in your case?

the one I downloaded was "all swipe gesture" something like that...I didn't like it then I uninstalled it after that I got the UI stopped working...I tried everything that didn't worked until I did a factory reset and reinstalled everything..I know it is a pain in the *ss but it was the only solution for me

I'm having a different problem my cell phone is not charging. I tried the following
1- My charger charging my friends Note 3.
2- My battery is charging in his Note3.
3- My Note3 is not charging his battery with either his / my charger.

If you've tried both, another charger and another cable, and your battery isn't the issue, as you've already determined, then your phone is the culprit.

Thank you Dpham00!! I have been having a problem with my new S Note 3 not charging since 2 weeks after buying it. It was telling me for my phone to charge that I needed to use the original charger that came with the phone......duh, I am!! I went back to the store and they gave my another charger. That worked for about 2 days. I was just about to walk out the door to take it back to the store tor get either a replacement phone or a different phone all together. I saw this post and grabbed my husband's USB 2 port from his Note 2 phone and it works! The message is gone and the phone has charged 13% in 15 minutes. :):D:):D

My note 3 wont turn on/charge, i have tried all the solutions I've seen on here and other sites but the only thing it seems to do is heat up when i try charging it.What is wrong with my phone?

You have provided no relevant info - so I will ask...

1) Have you tried to pull and reinsert the battery?
2) Do you know if the battery is good, or have you tried the battery in another phone, or another working battery in your phone?
3) Have you tried plugging the phone into a Windows PC to see if the PC detects the phone and/ or the SD card?
4) How old is the phone and how long has it been exhibiting these symptoms?
5) What version of Android are you running?
6) Have you tried other cables and/ or chargers?

This is a known issue with the note 3. Your provider should have been more knowledgeable with this. There isn't anything wrong with the phone itself or the actual wall plug of the charger. It's the cord itself that comes with the phone. The charging port on the note 3 is designed to take that big plug it comes with and you can also put a regular micro usb in it as well. Take a micro usb cord and plug it in to the rapid charger that came with the phone and you'll be good. Do not replace the original cord. Just use the micro usb. If you use some random phone charger with the micro usb without doing it the way I said you will just fry the charger. My phone works great and charges super fast since I made this change. My provider informed me of this issue and instructed me what to do when I bought the phone.

You can use the micro usb they sent you. If you get another one of these cords the cord will just go out almost right away. It's an issue with the cord itself not the phone. If you switch to the micro usb you will never have a charging problem with the note 3 again
