Note 3 Lags sometimes and is slow here is how to fix it!

my note 3 was giving me problems in the transitions and opening photo gallery stuff like that but here is a video showing how to fix it hope it works for you like it did with mine!

Looks like he is using Nova Launcher.

Open S Voice (double tap Home Button or open from your app tray)
Press the Menu button
Select ?Settings?
Check ?Wake up command?
Turn ?Voice wake-up? On to activate S Voice even while the screen is off!

I figured that was it. I feel like a tool saying "hi galaxy" I keep that off.

This is a close fix... but you have to have your screen unlocked first.

1. Settings
2. Device
3. Lock screen
4. Wakeup in lock screen
5. Record voice

This is awesome and worked perfectly, thanks! I noticed that the lock screen lags when pressing the home button to unlock (I don't use any security swipe or pin), do you ever experience this? If so, anything to help fix?

For those who prefer written instructions :


Get rid of slowness when pressing home button by disabling S-voice via home key

1. Double Tap the Home Button
2. Menu
3. Settings
4. Turn off Open via Home Key

Disable animation
From Home screen:
Menu>Settings>About this Device
-Click Build number 7 times.This will enable Developer options.
-Go back to the Settings main menu and Select developer options
- For "windows animation scale", "Animator duration scale", and "transition animation scale", select "Animation is off".

This has broken daydream animations, even after bringing those settings back to normal and rebooting my phone. Anybody else suffering from this? Any ideas how to fix it?

I relied heavily on daydream, but it's pretty much useless without animations.

An Android 4.3 feature that allows for apps to show on screen while the phone is charging or docked. I used to use dash clock widget a lot, very useful to see all that info without even touching the device.

Ok so first I t was introduced with 4.2. It is one of the things that has annoyed me about the Nexus 10. It is a great feature and no dock to take advantage of it.

The best way to explain it is a built in sleep mode for a device when it is plugged in. The example the person above gave is a great example. Since 4.2 was released there are some cool clocks and widgets for day dream mode.

The catch is what day dream really did was provide a way to customize this functionality in android. Samsung has included a dock mode for a long time. I used it allot on my OG Note. It worked great and functioned as my main alarm clock on my OG Note.

With that being said I think the Dock Mode setup disables daydream.
