I know there is lte where i am because one of my friends with sprint has it everywhere we go in Philly. I have tried switching it between CDMA and LTE/CDMA in the settings. I have tried turning airplane mode on and off. I tried updating the profile and prl. I even tried changing the XML through an app I had to install directly to the system (I am rooted). The only thing I can figure is that I switched my APN to EE when I went on a trip to London. However, when I reset my APN i Dont get any data on LTE/CDMA. Can anyone think of anything I haven't tried?

Re: My device refuses to connect to LTE.

If you have stronger 3G signal, the phone will not connect to 4G. This requires the use of airplane mode to get 4G.

What do you mean use of airplane mode?

Re: My device refuses to connect to LTE.

I had the same thing when I got My Note 3. The issue turned out to be that when I switched from my Galaxy S4 and Best Buy activated my Note 3 they did not change/update the SIM card # to the one that came pre-installed in the Note 3. So my phone would not connect to 4G LTE, only 3G & WiFi.

Mine just started doing the same thing today. I cleared cache, pulled battery, toggled airplane mode, and soft reset a couple of times. Haven't had any problem for two months since I got the phone.

Update...

I called Sprint customer service and told them about my issue. He told me to power off my device and he sent some updates to my device. And it actually works again. Yay!

I had the same issue over the weekend with my Note 2, the Note 3 was fine. It was actually kind of funny because I was on Verizon all weekend roaming and the service was slow as molasses. They reprovisioned the Note 2 and all was good.
