Man I am obsessed with this phone! I search every hour for new info, or videos, or pics, or forum posts here, for anything related to this phone, i had the Note 2 until I sold it 2 days ago in anticipation for the N3, i mean the technologies on this thing are world leading! usb micro 3.0, world first! did you guys know the snapdragon 800 uses Qualcomms Smart Charge 2.0, so at 1.5A youll go from flat to full in 2 and a half hours! beat that vs 5 hours on conventional, also 4k recording! 3GB of ram! fastest quad core CPU in the world, bigger battery, faster, lighter..i mean this phone is the cutting edge of what human kind can produce, it destroys every other phone out there ( even though some of the newer ones like G2 and Sony Experia Ultra Z have the same CPU, they lack in specs, 2GB ram, or no flash on camera (Sony) or no removable battery (all Google Nexus Phones) or SD expandability, the note 3 is just perfect) it's going to be an amazing feeling when I escape from work to go down to the tmobile store at 10 am when they open oct. 2nd...but dammit am i the only one who feels this way, please tell me someone else shares my pain! 9 days is torture!

I feel you bro, problem with me is I'm with VZ and have to wait till the 10th, so that even MORE torture. But I'm trolling all these sites just looking at specs, videos and all info I can soak in. I haven't sold my N2 and probably won't only because it's been such a great phone and will be a great goto phone if something happens with my N3 and I have to get it replaced

I'm with you on this one for sure. I have added almost every major youTube(r) there is that could or will cover this hoping for a review, hell even an unboxing will suffice. So yes it goes without saying the excitement I have is borderline OCD. Coming from an iPhone 4s to this will be such an upgrade and will be the "chainbreaking" device to pull me from the depths of the apple eco-system!!

Yea, the only unboxing I found was by a European chap, the charger was different, and honestly once I saw it was the octacore one i didn't even watch the rest, its not the same...its not the same phone! i want my snapdragon and i want it nao! Man from Iphone 4s its going to blow your friggin mind!
Yep. Sold my Note 2 last week and I've been without a phone since. I pre-ordered from an AT&T corporate store and the ship date says 10/1 - 10/2. It better be here on the first. I'm going through withdrawals.
See I did what you did because I remember our posts in a different thread regarding keeping the note 2 now or wait until N3 is out and sell then, looks like you and i were smart and sold it now that the prices are not saturated, I asked a coworker to borrow one, have you thought about asking around maybe a friend has an old one in a drawer somewhere they could lend you while you wait, so you're not so incommunicado?

Yeah, I did get $400 out of mine and that paid for the upgrade, a 64 GB memory card, a Spigen case, and a pack of screen protectors with money left over. So in a way I'm glad I sold it as early as I did while there weren't five million on Craigslist or FB. But I'm SOL as finding a phone to hold me over until then. I'm just going to have to tough it out. Next week can't get here soon enough. I'm so excited for this phone.

You can go over to iMore and trash the 5S or 5C. It passes the time...... they're pretty sensitive over there, so be gentle.

I like how they fixed the back and menu buttons to work with the S Pen. I hated switching between that and my finger on the Note 2.
Rofl funny you mentioned, I walked into Tmobile store the night the Iphone came out because after I sold my Note 2 with a microsim card in it, i needed an adapter to put it to the older standard sim card for an older phone Im using in the meantime, anyways the tmobile lady comes up to me all excitedly and says are you here for the Iphone 5? I gave her this look like "Psh I wouldn't get that phone even if you gave it to me" and she was stumped, lol didn't expect that answer, probably expected "omg yes where is the Iphone 5s!" where S stands for Same! or the Iphone 5c where c stands for cheap! lol.
I love you guys here at AC! I'm on life support. Doctors told me I don't have much time. They have me on a 40-count IV of Note 3 videos saved to my Note 3 YouTube playlist. They told me that if I don't get the Note 3 soon, there's nothing else they can do for me...

I haven't been this excited about a phone since the Torch debuted.....Torch, from then-RIM now BlackBerry. lol (at myself) Man, how times have changed.
Pre-ordered the SGNIII on AT&T a few days after the press conference and have been like everybody else in this thread: scouring the interwebs for anything new to learn about the phone. I'm coming off a Motorola AtrixHD, of which I have had all iterations (there were only three), so the SGNIII will be my first Samsung phone, first phablet and first top-tier phone. I'm very curious to find out over time if the stylus is a useful tool or a curious toy.
The screen size will come in handy because my phone is my No. 2 way to watch Netflix and HuluPlus and the multi-tasking, dual screen functionality will be extremely useful in my line of work.
Can't wait for Oct. 1. It's worse than waiting for Christmas when I was 8. :-$

I pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 3 through AT&T on 9/20 and my order status states that the phone will be shipped between Oct. 1st-Oct.2nd....I wish there was a better date for when the Note 3 will be shipped out for pre-orders. Based on previous experience, it seems like AT&T releases phones on a Friday. And shouldn't the people who pre-order receive the phone before it launches in store? Or at least on the same day? If the phone is supposed to be in stores on October 1st, then why would the pre-orders be shipped on that day? That just kind of boggles my mind a bit
