Note 3 - While wireless charging phone won't ring

I have a Note 3 that I charge wirelessly on a Samsung S Charger Pad. I have noticed when the phone is on the charger pad it won't ring even though there are a couple of reception bars displayed. When I miss a call and someone leaves a voicemail the voicemail notification does come through. I would appreciate any advice you might have on how I can correct this problem. Thanks.

Do you experience any connection issues even when the phone is not charging? If so, then that might be your problem.
