Note 3 would have been better if it had a fingerprint scanner, OIS, at least 3400mah battery, louder speaker. Oh well. Everything else is great.

ois would be cool, bigger battery is always welcome, although a day is all i ask and i'm getting that plus some, louder speaker is not a thing for me, i use headphones or in the event i need to pipe music etc to other people i use a bluetooth speaker....

Any phone would be better if it had a bigger battery than it already has, a louder speaker, and ois. Fingerprint scanner? Why? Retina scanner would be better.

...the top of the S-pen was an eraser. Dunno how three iterations have somehow missed this feature.

I hope the next iteration of the Note does this. It's the little things that add up. If the camera had OIS and better low-light capabilities, I'd be set. Just about everything on the N3 is fine. Yeah, bigger battery would be great but don't want to sacrifice it with a thicker device. Leave it to accessories to handle that.

I can't think of anything else that would make it better. Fingerprint scanner for me isn't something that I need. Just want a better camera.

I really don't care finger print scanner or 64bit cpu.

A fold-able display with built in projector would be kool.

The only thing I hate is the speaker. That isn't even because of the One. I think the sgs3 even had better sound

My S-Pen went through hell to deliver this important message to you

If I had the ear of the Samsung developers, I'd ask for S-note complete compatible across all Note devices. Also, an eraser on the S-pen, so intuitive, how can they not do this? How about a button on the top or something. A little more texture on the button would be helpful too.
And speakers toward the front like on the 10.1.
Other than that....... It's almost perfection except for the poor folks getting garbles and whistles on their calls. So while we're at it, let's ask that the bugs get worked out BEFORE it's launched.

I had the iPhone 5S (64GB, Silver) for a week (sold it for profit) and until you try/used the Touch ID (finger print scanner), unless you're a fanboy I don't know why you wouldn't want it. I don't use Password/PIN, it's a PITA to deal with but Apple made it so effortless.

Honestly, I almost bought the 5S (16GB) as my second toy to my LG G2 because I previously posted I was sick of Samsung & the Galaxy line up but I've been spoiled by Display & Battery Life.

I hope Samsung is reading this thread. Great idea!

As for OP. Speakers. Spoiled by hTc One.

Having two Super Phones, I want all to have EXTERNAL (micro) SIM SLOT like the LG G2.

Ergonomically, having to turn your pen around to erase something is far less efficient than simply tapping on the eraser tool icon on the screen.

That depends on the program. Although, support for the eraser would too. Anyway, on some programs you can use finger for such function and two fingers for scrolling. I don't like that tho, because it is too easy to erase when you want to scroll.

One little thing that bugs me is the fact that you can receive a text, and when you open the messaging app, it doesn't open to the text you just received. On the iphone, you'd open the messaging app and it opened to the last person who texted you. I've had mine less than a week and already saw an incoming text scroll along the top, opened messaging, and replied to the wrong person. Hope there's a fix for this.

I wish the Note 3 supported more apps in the mult-window and pen window modes out of the box. I know if you root, you can enable more app support, but I don't see why they couldn't have more apps straight out of the box....

When I receive a text and open the message app from the alert icon in the status bar it does open right to the incoming text.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

Agree. Touch ID is really the only thing I miss from my 5s. Decided to sell it and pick up a Note 3 and glad I did. The Apple fingerprint scanner is the first one that is well implemented and made using a security lock on my device convenient. I usually don't use anything because of the time it takes celery time to wake up my screen.

Note 3 is nearly perfect to me. The only thing I'd like to change is the wide gap between the display and the fake chrome border. The dust collecting in that gap is making me crazy OCD. Also slim bezels like the G2 would be nice. Had one for a week and loved it but knew I'd be getting a Note 3 and took it back. Very nice underrated device.

Yup, wish it were 6" (TWSS :p) with onscreen buttons. Also add stereo speakers (like the HTC One Max)! = THE BOMB!!!

You have any idea how huge that device would be? Just take a look at how much longer the HTC One Max is in comparison to even the Galaxy Note 3.

Yea, but when I do that with Gmail, it will crash the android system (or so it says, nothing else than a message appears). I have to open the gmail from my home screen for it to work.
