When I receive a text and open the message app from the alert icon in the status bar it does open right to the incoming text.

Yeah, I mentioned the same complaint a few posts up. Horrible oversight by Samsung. Can lead to a lot of texts to the wrong people.

Note 3 would have been better if it had a fingerprint scanner, OIS, at least 3400mah battery, louder speaker. Oh well. Everything else is great.

The only thing this phone needs that you mentioned is Optical image stabilization. With the battery size I feel like whatever it actual size was... you would have just mentioned one a bit bigger. Finger print scanner... why do I need that? Just because the iPhone has it now?

actually, now that i think of it, it would have been better if it was bullet proof, had a built in projector with a 100 lumen brightness and at least 720 resolution. holographinc keyboard. built in kickstand. water proof, up to 50 feet. saphire crystal screen. carl zeis lense. with a xenon flash. and had the nokia game snake,.

One little thing that bugs me is the fact that you can receive a text, and when you open the messaging app, it doesn't open to the text you just received. On the iphone, you'd open the messaging app and it opened to the last person who texted you. I've had mine less than a week and already saw an incoming text scroll along the top, opened messaging, and replied to the wrong person. Hope there's a fix for this.

If you click on the notification it will go directly to the message.
