Note 4 Any trouble setting up Smart Remote?

I can get to the point where my TV turns off during the setup process (and I can turn it back on via my Note 4), but beyond that the setup process fails.

Granted I tried to set it up for only a few minutes on my way out the door and haven't had a chance to really investigate the issue but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone experienced a similar issue and had a simple (potential) fix I overlooked.

Just got mine set up fine. I have noticed I needed to reboot my phone a few times, get all the updates downloaded and installed, before everything was working as I thought it should. Might just try that.

Mine set up fine, too, even without updates. The newest one is 7.9.10 on the Galaxy Apps store. My Note 4 shipped with 7.9.8. The only problem I have is that even if you add premium channels to your channel guide, their content doesn't show up anywhere.

I actually couldn't believe how simple it was to set up and how great it works. Not only can I control the TV, Fios set top and a/v receiver, but it also displays the full channel guide. I didn't know this was a built in feature of the Note 4. The more I use this N4 the more I love it!!! I'm coming over from the Windows Phone platform and have been enjoying everything new that the N4 (and Android) has to offer.

Updated app to latest version and everything works fine now. Thanks to all for your help.

Mine works with 3 tvs. Cool feature to show off the phone.
