Note 4 auto restarts

Re: samsung Note 4 edge auto restarts

I noticed it solved after i force stop the Gear VR service & Gear VR SetupWizardStub that installed on my phone.
But i scare t will happens again.

I was having a terrible time with my note restarting. I factory reset my phone took out my SIM card and then my sd card too. It would still start restarting and once it began the recycling I would have to remove the battery to get it to stop and, even then, it would often start recycling as soon as I put the battery back in and powered it on. I saw something about a bad connection with the battery once and dismissed it because it started happening after I had the phone for four months and I saw that my battery was fine. After a couple of months of this it got so bad that it was restarting 8 - 10 times a day but I noticed that it was really bad once my battery was below 50%. I decided to try to keep it charged above that and the next day I didn't have a single problem. I let it go below 50% the next day and it restarted again. I then bought a new battery and it's been two weeks now and not a single restart. I think the battery had just gone bad and my phone couldn't compensate for the power problems of a bad battery. Wish me luck that I don't have any more problems.

LOL everybody s talking about battery and hardware problems but the real problem is Lollipop. I bet you have Lollipop. Your phone is healthy as ****. Just downgrade to kitkat, you ll get multiple advantages

I have been testing and testing from removing SD to removing apps to disabling bloatware (did some but bought the package disabler just for good measure... and it was only $0.99 so....) and nothing seems to have fixed my reboot/freezing issue until I gave it some thought and how sometimes nothing responses as if the battery isn't making proper contact. I removed my wireless charging card a few months ago when I got Anker's 2 battery plus travel charger (works great but someone didn't think it 100% though) as I would have to unstick the charging pad every time I changed my battery. Well, I decided to put the pad back on thinking the secondary battery circuit would be complete. Well, guess what? It worked like a charm! the Note 4 runs like new and have no freezes or reboots.

I think it has to do with worn battery contact in the phone itself regardless if you keep changing the battery or not. It might just be one of those "timed bombs" engineers (though I'd blame accountants more) do so you are "encouraged" to buy new phones (my dad was an engineer and designed parts to fail after X amount of time/use).
