Note 4 battery life vs Note 3

I was on Verizon's website checking out the note 4 and wanted to compare the battery life specs with the note 3, and I'm surprised what was listed. The standby time of the note 3 is 504 hrs while the note 4 is 212 hrs. Can that be right? I understand the usage time is higher on the note 4 1884 mins vs note 3 1440mins but it just seems like the standby time should be longer as well.

Honestly, I wouldn't even look at those stats. Until the Note 4 actually comes out and is properly tested, you can't really tell what the 'real world' battery stand by time would be. And again, that will depend entirely on your own usage style. But if the past is any indication, the Note 4 should have about the same or even a little more battery juice than the Note 3 (although, that gorgeous screen is bound to eat up more battery...)
