Note 4 Blocking texts/calls

If I block texts and calls on my phone with someone.... What happens on their end? Will it still ring and go to voicemail? Will I still know if they are texting me?

Welcome to Android Central! It may depend on if you're using a specific app to block, or if you're using the stock Android function of making a contact always go to voicemail (found in the People app if you select a contact and tap Menu). If you select a contact to always go to voicemail, I don't believe you hear the phone ring--but you should get a notification for a new voicemail. Not sure if you get a Missed Call notification.

I have some numbers blocked with the stock app and I never receive any voice mails. With the text they're just saved in the blocked messages section of your text messages.
