Note 4 Camera Pictures! Got one? We would love to see it.

Re: Note 4 Camera Pictures! Got one we would love to see it.

Two pictures, both HDR. One at night to get an idea of ultra low light results and one in the morning from roughly same place on back patio.

Here's one from the shot and more mode. I was just playing around with it at a junior hockey game but I like the effect. Took half a dozen and most came up with best shot. This one allowed for motion blur. It was completely accidental but I like it as long as I don't look too closely at it. I did crop it.

I get this exact same issue. Taking photos in light that you would think would be appropriate enough for clear shots. I've had my Note 4 since 10/17 and I'm still pissed off trying to capture pictures of my son. Someone above mentioned burst mode which I've tried and yes, it can help but it's a nuisance weeding through 30 different photos to find one good one.

I'm also going to try sport mode to see if that might make the shutter faster. This phone takes great pictures but not everyone is shooting beautiful landscape and still objects all the time.

If that doesn't work I'm getting a Sony RX100 and calling it done lol.

Note 4 for Macro - great depth of field helps:

Before I took this picture I tried a dslr with a macro lens and a micro 43 lens that will focus close - neither was satisfactory for a handheld shot. In order to get the smaller aperture I needed to get greater depth of field I would have had to use a tripod.

I was very happy with this image of birds nest fungus growing in one of my houseplants. The largest nest measured 7mm across:

Took these last night before starting work.
