Note 4 can't upgrade to lollipop

Hello everyone,

It seems like I am not able to update my KitKat to Lollipop. Ive tried scanning manually for software updates but it didnt work. It says that it's still up to date. But as of now, my OS is still 4.4.4 Help please.. thank you

Lol. You've to wait for the update to become available for your region or carrier branded phone whatever the case may be. You get the OS is up to date because there's no update available for your model at the moment.. Your only option is to install either the German stock rom(which is for the snapdragon version) or the Polish Rom (for exynos) using Samsung kies.

Thank you for the reply. Im from the Philippines and i believe that the OS update was released a couple of weeks ago already. And I have the same phone from the same set released by our company. But they have theirs already updated.

Lollipop isn't out for the note 4 yet. At least not in the US.

Sounds like it may be released in your area - but it is usually pushed out to phones incrementally so the real answer is to wait, it will show up.

If its available in your region youll likely have to use Kies on a Pc to doo the upgrade. I had to do just that. The ota update never came to my device but when i connected to keys it detected the update and began downloading it.

Check in with sammobile.com to see if your device has a firmware update available. Or just plug into your PC and open kies. Either way if theres an available update you can upgrade

My Note 4 is on Lollipop. I downloaded the German ROM through sammobile. Then used Odin. It is so much better than 4.4.4 .
