There is a lot of video reviews of cases on YouTube. What I like to do though, is face off one case vs another and decide on a winner. What I've managed to do this time though is accumulate a good number of cases that I've spent time and real world use on. My plan is to face them off against each other in videos. Not all at once though. Instead I'm going to do a bracket in a tournament style until I proclaim the very best case. I'd like your input on which to put against each other (I'm also posting this at xda-developers). They are the following cases:

Spigen Neo Hybrid
Spigen Slim Armor
Samsung Flip Case
Samsung Protective Cover
UAG Maverick
UAG Folio Flip
Seidio (Platinum) w/holster
Unicorn Beetle w/holster
Verus Iron Shield

Once I get some feedback I'll post the bracket and start posting videos over the course of the next couple of weeks. I'll be giving away a few of the cases when it's all said and done to people who like the videos or post comments on them.

Great thread. Me and my wife have Unicorn Beetle cases, mostly because the looked like they provided great protection at an incredible price. Looking for my next case though. Was leaning towards the Spigen Neo Hybrid with aluminum bumper.

I just received the hybrid with aluminum. I didn't like it. Felt kind of big. Went back to the samsung protective case.

Would like to see a face off between spigen neo hybrid and Samsung protective cover. Thanks

I can give you that one right now.

NeoHybrid: looks great IMO, doesn't add too much bulk IMO, looks professional, heart monitor scanner is unusable and Spigen knows this by sending a garbage filled love note with case basically trying to cover their asses, professional packaging, offers great drop protection and has decent screen lip, not too slippery in hand, don't know why manufacturers need to paste "auto focus" on their cases next to the camera in todays day in age, perfect tight fit, larger headphone plugs will not fit unless you bore out the headphone cutout on the case, SCRATCHES THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF THE POLISHED ALUMINUM EDGES OF PHONE - this is a fact and anyone who tells you otherwise is in denial or never takes their case off to look

Protective Cover: also looks great IMO, looks professional, very slim while still offering decent small drop protection and also has a decent screen lip, probably not as good drop protection as NeoHybrid, not as tight fitting as NeoHybrid (looks like a large drop could cause it to come out of the case - probably not but not out of the realm), heart monitor is no problem to use, professional packaging however not as nice as Spigen's but who cares right, not too slippery in hand, so far no additional scratches from this case to the polished edges of the phone

All I can think of right now.

Otter box Commuter Series. Great protection without the bulk of the Defender Series. Hands down the best protection available.
