Note 4 Delay/Lag

I have an AT&T Note 4. I got it back mid November. I am using Nova Launcher.

The last couple of weeks I have noticed intermittent delay/lag. This is not on any specific app, it happens at random no matter what I'm doing on the phone. I will tap to select something and it will just do nothing for several seconds. This will happen only briefly and generally stop, but it is now starting to get seriously annoying. Any thoughts on the cause?

Its the phone man...some say they dont have any lagg at all...i find that hard to believe...theres 100s of post around where people are complaining about lagg and bugs

I am going to say this about the whole lag debate Coming from personal experience.

There is a problem with some phones with a true lag.
My first Note 4 was an unlocked Tmobile version.

My lag dealt with touch response.
I could actually type 2 whole words, then the keys and letters would pop up and show up.
Same with S-pen, write and then the Writing Would appear after a delay.
I could touch the screen and get a delay to recognize the touch.
Tried everything Samsung suggested and even in safe mode it was there.
Took it to a Samsung rep in BB and they were even frustrated. Rep said "it is a lemon and needs replacing", so it is a real problem.
I even rooted it to try and fix because I didn't want to wait for a replacement. Nothing worked.
It is e real problem and my 2nd one has been perfect.
