Hey guys
Been having some issues with the note 4 and not sure whats the root cause. Today my battery was at 35% then my phone died and was in a continuous reboot cycle every time the home-screen would flash up saying 0%. It only stopped when i pulled the battery and reinserted it and it went back up to 19% then died completely until i charged it again. Attached some photos, Thanks for the help.

See the huge sign saying "DENDRITE"? No? That curve in the first screen capture says it. That instant drop to 0, then the battery is back to more than 0 charge if you turn it on again.

The battery has to be replaced. (Since you can get one for $13, it may not pay to fight to have it replaced under warranty, although it IS a manufacturing defect. (Actually a design defect - lithium batteries do have the problem and there's nothing anyone can do about it yet, so the manufacturer should replace the battery under warranty - but they probably won't.)

See Lithium Battery Dendrite links to learn all about dendrites.
