Could you post a screenshot of that "Screen" of the SOT on iOS 8? All I see is usage. I would really like to see the SOT like you do on Android when you select "Screen."

I did trade my iPhone 6 with the note 4 I have now. Will check for you guys on my sister her ip5. Just not sure if she's on 8.1 or 8.2 yett

When you go to battery usage there is an option called "screen" like on android, there you will see the exact time😉

On Android, yes. My refute was of your claim that ios shows SOT, which it doesn't.

My sister is on iOS 7 which just shows battery usage as in general. I seriously could push on "screen" and see my screen usage (exact time). This was on iOS 8.1/2

Edit: been looking though some forums and I'm not sure but can't find it anywhere, Gues you are right then. Probably seen usage or something..

There is not a screen time on iOS. Maybe in another app but not the default one. Please see my 6+ screenshot below. On Android you can tap screen and see you had the screen on for 4 hours or whatever. iOS does not tell you the time. The "usage" is not how long the screen has been on.
