Note 4 flashlight app?

I thought I had read the note4 has flashlight app? Can't seem to find it...maybe I read it wrong?

Try the Widgets section in the app drawer, should be a widget by the name of Assistive Light

Edit: Its not in app drawer anymore. Long hold the Recents Menu or long touch on a home screen to bring up Widgets, page 6 by default.

They may have removed it. I know someone that has an S5 and it's not a widget on her phone. I use TeslaLED Flashlight.

If you have the s view cover it comes with the flashlight in the cover

Edit: Its still there. I was looking in appa drawer like my Note 2.

That's the one thing I am going to miss about custom ROMs. With Beans ROM on my Note 2, I can hold down the volume up when the screen is off and the flashlight turns on for up to 10 minutes.

Nope it's there in the widgets. However, it is under the "settings" widget.

If you use the search widgets menu while in the widgets area and type in "light" it will show the flashlight widget. Not sure why it doesn't appear on its own.

That would be a minor tragedy if Samsung ever got rid of the Assistive Light f/k/a Torch widget for TouchWiz. It's one of the few things non-TW Android users are jealous of. They've got to find some third-party app.

In mine it's known just as torch. And I can access it directly through the s cover or from the widget.

The pre installed light widget isn't as bright as others from the app store,but it does fire up instantly where the others have a bit of a delay.
