Note 4 I just love it :-)

Re: Samsung's Finest :-)

With all the talk about Samsung completely upping their game with the s6, I am getting even more excited about what the Note 5 is going to be like. I am going to have to really force myself not to jump on the s6 if the rumors are true, because I know the Note 5 will be even better.
I actually see myself keeping this baby for two years. Totally loving it.

I think quite a few including myself feel the same way, I will no doubt have a look at the Note 5 (just out of curiosity) lol.

Well first I'm no fanboy just to clear that one up but Samsung have in my opinion done a fine job with the Note 4.

From the first one that I missed unfortunately but had the 2,3 & now 4. This has shown to many that big is very functional and kinda took the mobile market by surprise.

The size lead the way for all of us to benefit from such a vast array of android devices yeh I will use the common term phablets. Its now the norm for us to see the 5-6" as devices as ones we perceive as only logical lol.

So Samsung really led the way with the Note and now we are here with the Note 4.

This really is Samsung's finest and one that yeh I kinda respect. It is a very great package and has so many great features and the enhancements over the note 3 may for some be small but I see them as very beneficial and I'm liking that they are really encouraging the use of the mighty pen. With the ability to now easily select text and to select multiple items in gallery etc yeh I find myself now using it more than I did with the previous.

There are far to many great points to list and for this not to turn into an essay or ramblings.

So just a few little points..

The screen to features and battery life, well its really impressive (I know there is fluctuations here) but in my experience I'm averaging no less than 5hrs but often more screen on time.

The speed and performance of the note has also been kind to me even prior to root. This note is very smooth indeed.

I also see some here staying stock as and that indicates that TW is becoming less annoying. Its not quite to the point where we would like it, but at least the grip is loosening on Samsung's side.

So yeh I really like the whole package that the note provides

Have your say what do you think?

Re: 4k Drone Footage :-)

Great video - too bad we can't see the actual quality. The clip on the web page is 640x360 - FAR from 4K. (A 4K video on the web would show you about one leaf from one of the trees filling the entire screen - assuming you had the bandwidth to download it fast enough to stream it.)

That's what I can't understand about people wanting better cameras, thinking they'll be taking better pictures - then being disappointed that all they're taking is higher resolution bad pictures. It's not the camera that makes the shot (ask Dorothea Lange or Ansel Adams, who used who used cameras we would consider too primitive to even throw away), it's the photographer.

I love my note 4's

Both varients are great but have been using the Exynos more often.

Re: I love my note 4's

I have wondered about this. Is there a real, noticeable difference in speed/ performance or not?
By noticeable I mean would a non phone freak notice a difference?

Probably not tbh, they are both very quick, in some aspects (loading web pages) the Exynos is faster. But in others the Snapdragon is faster.

It almost balances out so to speak which is good for the Exynos as my understanding it used to trail behind the Snapdragon chip set.

What about batterywise? I don't even think we have the option to buy the exynos one here in the Netherlands..

Tbh I haven't fully tested and mess around with various kernels & settings so would be unfair to comment.

I am getting great battery life from both, right now with Stock NK5 on the Exynos its not brilliant so I'm going to revert back to a custom kernel which is better.

So there you have it, sorry that is not very helpful but I like to mess around :-P

Perseus Kernel

Wow just wow and credit to the developer for this one.

Just recently flashed and it's soooo smooth and no lag not that I had much with Adam Kernel, but the bit of remaining lag on the recents has been eliminated.

Take off hell no this note is now flying :-)

Look but don't touch.

You may ask about my note, you may look at my note 4.

BUT KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF...

Anyone the same?

Re: Look but don't touch.

My SIL wanted to see my phone last night so I let her. It took all my willpower not to snatch it out of her hand.

Re: Look but don't touch.

What's the deal with people always wanting to touch anyway? There are Best Buy stores for that. The only prints I want smudging my screen are mine. Now back up!

SGN4 :-D
