Hey guys,

I am considering buying a Note 4. I just have a quick question, does anyone know whether they Note 4 will have the same "backdoor" that most other Galaxy phones have as pointed out by Replicant developers, where the modem could be remotely controlled?

Thanks

Sorry for some reason my posts haven't been working. I haven't posted enough times to put a link up here but as mentioned above if you Google Replicant and Galaxy back door you'll find it.

Those are old devices on old software .

given the fact it was discovered in March this year, 6 months after Note 3 release, and Note 3 is not affected, I would say its likely patched long time ago.

Although a confirmation from sammi would be great.

I wouldn't worry about it. I think you are safe. Especially when their is increasing demand for secure products now a days. A backdoor could potentially bankrupt a tech company.Take a look at the link below. The Note 4 is included in the list.
