I just got off the phone with tmo and they said that my of is used get more of the battery than the os so they said that I should uninstall my applications and see if the same thing happens if it does I will have to wait till my apps get updated for 4.4.4 if not I need a new battery or a new phone

First thoughts are that it is not as big as I anticipated. Now I moved from the Windows Lumia 925, to the Galaxy S5, before quickly realizing I wanted to the note, even though I loved the S5. Going from the S5 to the Note 4 was easy. The build quality is very nice, easy to grip and just very fast and pretty. Oddly my Microsoft office doesn't seem to work with it just yet, perhaps a new phone issue, but odd. I will practice with the camera next, but overall I am very pleased. It feels great and looks great and is not anywhere near as large as I was worried it would look/be.

No offense to user reviews, but until the new device pixie dust wears off, I tend to not hold much weight in reviews unless used beyond a few hours or even days.

G3 is a great example. A lot of people loved it until they realized the battery life was weak, contrast bad and the display impacted performance.

I Get with after the buzz wears off to get some realistic impressions, however I at first had poor battery on the G3. However after just 3 cycles it improved and i average 5hrs+ screen on.

Also unhappy w/ battery life. Hope to get the new firmware update soon. Not having any luck w/ the fingerprint scanner and the calendar widget is weak sauce but everything else about this phone is amazing.

Battery life for me has improved significantly over the last 2 days. Example today screen on 3 hours and battery level at 60%.

I've only had the phone for a few hours but so far it's great. Having a hard time getting the Bluetooth to work with my car though. Able to play audio and music fine with it, but all my calls are silent.

Did you check your bluetooth settings to make sure 'Media Audio' and 'Call Audio' are both checked? I also have these options in my car's interface.

I am an Android newbie coming from years of iPhone imprisonment. When you say you disabled most of the Samsung stuff, did you literally go in, find the stuff you did not want and just delete them one at a time or is it more complicated than that?

Yup they both are, I think I'll try unchecking the phone one next and see if it works. Too lazy to go back to my car now haha

I ordered at night on the 13th, and got my tracking number on the 14th.

I didn't get any emails from T-mo until the day the phone was delivered. Had to sign up for UPS My Choice (it's free) to find the shipment/get the tracking information.

I just got an update to my phone. I read it's to help improve battery life. I wasn't having a problem with it, but if it gets even better, great!
