Note 4 Protection plans? Advice?

I decided to go with squaretrade. The $75 deductible is very reasonable and $5 a month isn't bad.

SquareTrade almost seems too good to be true! has anyone used them in the past before and had good experiences? This is the first time I have heard of this company, so i want to make sure I am doing my research! :)

I saw that it said you can bring it in to any repair place you want? What kind of places does this count as? I am not too sure how to even find repair places near me!

Any advise would be great! thank you!!

Have used square trade since my droid incredible. Good fast service. On my DInc they had me mail them my phone and replaced the screen. My mom also had a plan with her iPhone 4 and they were unable to repair, sent her a check to purchase new iPhone within 2 days.

was there a time where you would have to be without a phone for a day or two? or did they give your the option to take it somewhere local like the website is claiming right now?

Re: Protection plans? Advice?

Oh wow didn't know that. Do they still give you refurbished devices?

Yes the policy is refurbished.you may get lucky and get a new one especially closer to release

Yes I had the option, but this was awhile ago before there was a phone repair place on every corner, So I sent that one in.
My mom's iphone did not work and we live nowhere near an apple authorized repair shop so she sent hers in as well and received a check in 2-3 days. From what I have read, it sounds like they will reimburse you (minus deductible) for a repair shop bill.

Was going to go with Squaretrade, but ended up choosing AT&T's coverage since it also covers loss and theft.

That's exactly why I get the AT&T insurance on my phones even though the deductible is kind of high. I use SquareTrade for my tablets and laptops though.
